WVU names 2024 Foundation Scholars

Five exceptionally talented incoming West Virginia University freshmen whose academic interests span the fields of humanities, medicine and science are eager to use their curiosity, creativity and problem-solving skills to generate new ideas and innovative solutions for a better future as the 2024-25 WVU Foundation Scholars, the highest academic scholarship the University awards. 

VEX 2023

Second annual VEX Robotics competition to be held by Statler College

The Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources at West Virginia University will host the WVU MMAE Mountaineer VEX Robotics Competition for the second year in a row, gathering student teams from across the US and Canada to design and build a robot to compete and sharpen their engineering skills. Winning teams will have the opportunity to advance to the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, Texas held in April.
