WVU’s Industrial Extension program receives $3 million grant to support West Virginia’s manufacturing base

The Industrial Extension program in the Statler College is expanding its reach and support of the manufacturing base in the Mountain State thanks to a recent cooperative agreement with the United States Department of Commerce National Institute of Standards and Technology through the Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership.

WVU spin-off company IstoVisio, Inc. awarded funding for virtual reality research

Engineers in the Statler College are aiding neuroscientists in data collection through a software that enables them to visualize and explore data in 3D for a more accurate image.

Song named to endowed professorship

Xueyan Song, professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering in West Virginia University's Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, has been named the George B. Berry Chair of Engineering, effective January 1, 2021.
