Dear friends and colleagues,

Summer is here, and our college feels a little empty without students. We can’t wait to see our students again! During the summer break, I encourage you to get outside, enjoy the fresh warm air and take a break from your computer.

The articles presented above showcase our cybersecurity bachelor’s degree program ranked as one of the top-tier programs in the nation by the United States National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security. We also feature more than 40 people who came together to establish the memorial scholarship for the late Professor Yi Luo. I invite you to take the time to read these stories and others in this newsletter.

We’re also excited to host the 2022 Statler College Engineering Challenge Camps. Students in grades K-12 across the tri-state area may discover their passions in STEM at WVU. The camps will allow our young people to continue their education and explore STEM concepts. They’ll have fun learning how to overcome obstacles through problem-solving, build critical thinking skills through hands-on activities and make life-long friends through team building exercises.

Let's Go!
