MAE students place at SAMPE regional competition
West Virginia University doctoral candidate Peng Zheng won first place in the oral presentation category at the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering’s regional student competition on Wednesday, April 13. Zheng received a cash award as well as an all-expenses paid trip to the national finals in Anaheim, California, in September. Master’s candidate Kancharla Sai Manohari placed fourth in the poster category.
