The WVU Brand
The staff in Marketing and Communications works with its clients to ensure all print
pieces, websites, and videos adhere to WVU branding standards.
WVU Brand Center
WVU Stationery and Business Cards
WVU provides high-quality, cost-effective products and services to the University
community. To order letterheads or business cards, you must log in to
WVU Portal, select Mountaineer Marketplace and click on business cards and
letterheads in the top left corner of the grid. A pop up window will appear with
templates, please select WVU Main Campus and fill out the form with your information.
WVU Branded Products
West Virginia University Trademark Licensing protects the reputation and goodwill
of West Virginia University through the control of the appearance of its name and
indicia in the marketplace and elsewhere. All WVU branded products must be produced
by a
licensed vendor and must be approved by Trademark Licensing. All internal requests
must be accompanied by the following form:

Press Releases
To share exciting news such as awards, grants or research breakthroughs, please complete the press release request form. Stories chosen for a press release are done so at the discretion of the Marketing and Communications Office. Please contact Paige Nesbit at Paige.Nesbit@mail.wvu.edu if you have any questions.

Engineering E-News is an electronic newsletter sent on Wednesdays for faculty, students
and staff in the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources.
Submit your news and events via our form by Tuesday at 4 p.m. Keep notices brief
and include a link or email for more information.

Calendar Event
In addition to submitting your event announcements to eNews, make sure you're also
adding your event to the WVU calendar system to get the widest visibility for your
event.

Photography
The Office of Marketing and Communications may provide photo services for the college
and maintains a photo archive. Please
contact Paige Nesbit to schedule photography services or a photo request from
the archive.
University Relations Digital also provides photography services. There is a
form you can fill out to
request a photoshoot with UR – Digital. There is a cost associated, however,
and budget approval from the Department chair is required before production can
begin. Additional images may be available for purchase from
WVU Photo Services, which maintains an online,
searchable gallery.
Video Services
All video services should be coordinated through the Office of Marketing and Communications.

contact Paige Nesbit for more information and to schedule a meeting. The College
works with the team in
WVU's University Relations/Video. There is a cost associated with video production
and budget approval from the Department chair is required before work can begin.

Faculty Websites
WVU has created a standardized template to allow faculty members to quickly create
a faculty website that looks professional and adheres to the University's branding
and accessibility guidelines. For faculty's individual research labs, your can
research will be housed on your faculty website. All urls for faculty sites will
follow the firstnamelastname.faculty.wvu.edu format, without exception.

Research Websites
Research websites are available only to research centers. The WVU Research Office
recognizes two types of research centers: University level Center, and College
level Center. When establishing a research center in the Statler College please
follow the guidelines and approval process found at the
WVU Research Office website. Contact the
Statler College Research office with any questions. If your recognized research
office is in need of a website, please go through the Statler College Research
office to start your request.
Student Organization Websites
Student organization pages coordinated by the office of Student Engagement and Leadership
and designed by the student organization members. A
guide for starting a website and a form for making your student organization website request is available.
Statler College, Department, and Related Website Updates
Employees should use the following form to submit content updates for review. Keep in mind that we do not have blanket access to all WVU sites, and this form should be used for updates to Statler College related websites only.

Social Media
The Statler College maintains a social media presence on
Facebook,
Instagram,
Twitter,
YouTube, and
LinkedIn. Please

WVU guidelines for social media.
Information Stations
The information stations are a digital signage network of displays strategically
placed across the Downtown and Evansdale campuses in areas with a lot of pedestrian
traffic. The main purpose of the information stations is campus safety. However,
the stations also provide real-time information to the WVU community about a variety
of subjects including daily and special events, athletics schedules, Rec Center
programs, and more. University Relations has
