Lane Department graduate student presents poster at AACR Conference
Yasser Khouj, a computer science and electrical engineering graduate student in the Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, presented a poster at the Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research Conference on Engineering and Physical Sciences in June. The work was entitled, “The Detection of Ductal Carcinoma Using Noninvasive Hyperspectral Imaging.” Jeremy Dawson, assistant professor of computer science and electrical engineering, James Coad, professor and vice-chair of pathology, and Linda Vona-Davis, teaching assistant professor of surgery at WVU’s School of Medicine, collaborated on the effort.
