MEDIA ADVISORY: College to host Engineers Week events
The Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources will host a series of events to celebrate National Engineers Week, Monday, February 19-Saturday, February 24. Engineers Week is led by DiscoverE, formerly the National Engineers Week Foundation. Its mission is to sustain and grow a dynamic engineering profession through outreach, education, celebration and volunteerism.
HIGHLIGHTED EVENTS INCLUDE:
Tuesday, February 20: Donuts with the Dean, 8:30-10 a.m., Ground Floor, Engineering
Sciences Building
Statler College Dean Gene Cilento will be available for interviews.
Wednesday, February 21: Engineering: Powering Your Future, 5 p.m., MRB 113

Merit Badge University is an opportunity for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts to work
on an array of merit badges, including ones not typically offered at summer camps,
