8:30 a.m. - 4p.m.
This one-day Pedestrian Safety Symposium will cover the pedestrian safety initiative,
understanding the issues, Morgantown Monongalia Metropolitan Planning Organization’s
bicycle study, experiences from other agencies, MMMPO Consultant’s Experience,
safety toolbox and open discussions.
8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Attendees of this two-day summit will review presentations on federal regulations,
American Disabilities Act, law enforcement initiatives, pedestrian road safety
audit field activity and small group exercises.
8:30 a.m. - noon
Moderators will conduct small group discussions regarding education and engineering,
review comments from the previous day and attendees will participate in small group
exercises.
