MEDIA ADVISORY: The National Mine Rescue Association - Post 5 will host a mine rescue contest
WHAT: The National Mine Rescue Association - Post 5 will host a mine rescue contest.
WHO: Representatives from 20 different mine rescue teams will compete in a two-day mine rescue, first aid, pre-shift and bench competition. The contest will utilize mining regulatory agencies to judge these teams. These judges represent West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and federal personnel.

WHEN: Contest will be held from Tuesday July 30, 2019 to Thursday August 1, 2019 from 8:00 am – 3:00pm
