Industrial and Management Systems Engineering professor David Wyrick has been elected as President of the Council of Engineering Management Academic Leaders (CEMAL) in the The American Society for Engineering Management. CEMAL provides a forum for engineering management programs to work together to advance the profession and address issues in engineering management education. ASEM is a global professional society dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the engineering and technical management profession. Wyrick, a long standing member of ASEM, served as secretary by engineering management program chairs and leaders in 2022, past president and first assistant executive director of the ASEM.
