In graduate student category, first place winners will receive $250 each, second place winners will receive $175 each and third place winners will receive $75 each towards their education credit. If you have multiple student participated in your research poster – we will leave the decision to share the award amount to first author and faculty advisor.
In undergraduate student category, first place poster winner will receive $125 total, second place poster winner will receive $75 total towards their education credit.
Wadsworth Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Austin Jarrell, a civil engineering graduate student, for placed first in the prestigious ASCE Region 4 DV Terrell Competition! This prestigious competition has been held for over 60 years and commemorates Dean Terrell's many years of work and service to the Society and especially his leadership in the establishment of the District Council System, the predecessor of the Region 4 Assembly. All members, associate members or affiliates of ASCE (not including student members) who are 35 years of age or less. Jarrell's work in professional ethics earned top honors at the 2025 Spring Assembly in Indianapolis.
