Nimbarte named 2025 fellow by Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering

The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering has recognized Ashish NimbarteIndustrial and Management Systems department chair, as a 2025 fellow for his contributions to education, research and innovation.  The industry’s primary professional society, the IISE Council of Fellows represents many prominent members of the industrial engineering profession. IISE was established in 1948 to advance and unite industrial engineers around the world.

WVU students mentor the next generation of aerospace engineers during SpaceTrek summer camp

It might be summertime, but the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources at West Virginia University has been alive with the sounds of students learning, experimenting, and analyzing. The West Virginia SpaceTrek Program summer camp held July 12–20 welcomed 17 high school girls from across West Virginia to the world of aerospace engineering. Their guides on this stellar journey?
